Which Wofford Terriers games are worth watching in 2026?
The finale at Ole Miss on November 21 is the one that will draw eyes from outside Spartanburg. Vaught-Hemingway Stadium holds more than 60,000, and the Rebels are coming off a 13-2 season — it is the only game all year with a real television window rather than a stream, and it caps a stretch in which Wofford plays three of its last four away from home. Closer to the heart of the season is October 3 at Furman, one of the fiercest rivalries in the SoCon and a game Wofford won 31-13 last October at Gibbs Stadium. The return trip to Greenville is the sort of afternoon that tends to define a Terriers year.
Wofford does something unusual right out of the gate: it opens the season on August 29 with a conference game against The Citadel, one of the oldest series in the league, with postgame fireworks at Gibbs Stadium. Three weeks later comes another novelty — Tennessee Tech visits on Family Weekend as a brand-new SoCon member, arriving off an 11-win campaign in the OVC. Homecoming lands October 17 against VMI, and the September 12 trip to Kent State replaced a previously scheduled visit to Ohio, giving the Terriers their only FBS road test before the Ole Miss finish.
