Western Carolina Catamounts Football TV Schedule, Channels, Times
How to watch live stream Western Carolina Catamounts football game today, tonight, or tomorrow? What channel & time?
The Western Carolina Catamounts compete in the Southern Conference, and most of their 2026 schedule streams on ESPN+ — all eight SoCon games plus the home dates against Eastern Kentucky and Presbyterian, since every SoCon school streams its home games on the platform unless a contest is picked up for national or regional broadcast. Two road trips fall outside that: the September 5 visit to Campbell runs through the CAA's partner FloFootball, and the September 12 trip to Big 12 member Cincinnati streams through the host school's arrangement. Kerwin Bell's side is coming off a program-best third straight seven-win season, and the 2026 calendar is unusually back-loaded — after a Week Zero opener, the Catamounts play eight consecutive league games from late September through November, broken only by the October 17 bye.

Which Western Carolina Catamounts games are worth watching in 2026?
The season opens under the lights with "Whitmire at Nite" against Eastern Kentucky on August 29, a Week Zero showcase that also unveils a set of stadium upgrades including the new Western Skybox. Two weeks later comes the money game: a trip to Nippert Stadium to face Big 12 member Cincinnati, only the second meeting ever between the schools and the first since 2005. In between, the Catamounts return to in-state Campbell, giving them back-to-back road tests before conference play begins.
October 3 brings a genuine first — Tennessee Tech visits Cullowhee for the inaugural league meeting between the programs, the Golden Eagles having joined the SoCon this season after an 11-win campaign in the OVC, and it is the second of only two night games at Whitmire. Homecoming lands October 24 against Chattanooga, one of the league's steadiest contenders, and the Halloween trip to Furman renews another long-running rivalry. One scheduling oddity worth noting: Western Carolina and VMI will not meet at all this year, because the SoCon is holding at eight conference games for one final season before expanding to nine in 2027.
