Ole Miss enters the 2026 season under first-year head coach Pete Golding with one of the SEC's toughest schedules. The Rebels open the year in Nashville against Louisville before returning to Oxford for home games against Charlotte and LSU. SEC television rights remain split between ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, SEC Network, and ESPN+, with kickoff windows announced throughout the season. Several conference games have already been placed in the SEC's new flex windows, allowing broadcast partners to determine the final kickoff time closer to game week. Which Ole Miss Rebels games are worth watching in 2026?
Ole Miss faces one of the SEC's most challenging schedules from the opening weekend. The Music City Kickoff against Louisville is followed immediately by a prime-time showdown with LSU in Oxford before the Rebels head to Florida. Later in October, Pete Golding's squad travels to Texas in what could become one of the conference's defining matchups if both teams are in College Football Playoff contention.
November may be even tougher. Georgia visits Oxford in one of the biggest home games of the season before Ole Miss travels to Oklahoma a week later. The regular season finishes with the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State, one of college football's fiercest rivalries, after a final tune-up against Wofford. With LSU, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida all on the schedule, the Rebels will have no shortage of résumé-building opportunities throughout the season.
