Northwestern State Demons Football TV Schedule, Channels, Times

How to watch live stream Northwestern State Demons football game today, tonight, or tomorrow? What channel & time?

The Northwestern State Demons compete in the Southland Conference, and every game on their 2026 schedule streams on ESPN+ — all nine league contests plus the three non-conference dates against Louisiana Christian, Louisiana Tech and Weber State. There is no cable package for Demon football, so one subscription covers the year. Blaine McCorkle enters his third season in Natchitoches following a 1-11 campaign, and the schedule gives him an unusually structured year: a Thursday night opener at Turpin Stadium for the second season running, then three straight on the road, and finally four of the last six back home. The season also ends early, wrapping up on Thursday, November 19 rather than the usual Saturday finish.

Which Northwestern State Demons games are worth watching in 2026?

The season ends with the game Natchitoches waits all year for. Northwestern State travels to Nacogdoches on Thursday, November 19 to play Stephen F. Austin for Chief Caddo — the seven-and-a-half-foot carved statue that stands as the largest trophy in college football, and a series reaching its 80th meeting. The Jacks have held it recently and won last year's edition by a wide margin, so the Demons arrive with plenty to settle. The Thursday slot gives the rivalry a night of its own at the end of the regular season.

Before that comes the state's other grudge match: the September 5 trip to Ruston to face Louisiana Tech, the FBS in-state rival NSU fans still call "Wreck Tech." The Demons then take the longest trip on their calendar two weeks later, heading to Ogden to face Big Sky member Weber State. The season opens on a Thursday night at Turpin Stadium against Louisiana Christian, a regional neighbor that has won its conference twice in the past three years — the second straight year NSU has started at home under the lights. Homecoming lands October 24 against Nicholls, and McNeese visits a week earlier for a noon kickoff timed so fans can get to the Top of the Boot Music Festival on campus that evening.
