Houston Christian Huskies Football TV Schedule, Channels, Times
How to watch live stream Houston Christian Huskies football game today, tonight, or tomorrow? What channel & time?
The Houston Christian Huskies compete in the Southland Conference, and every game on their 2026 schedule streams on ESPN+ — all nine league contests plus the three non-conference dates, including both trips to American Conference opposition. There is no cable package for HCU football, so a single ESPN+ subscription covers the season, with radio available through the Husky Sports Network. Jason Bachtel is in his third year in charge after a 2-10 campaign, and the 2026 slate asks a lot early: the Huskies open on a Thursday night at Southeastern Louisiana, then face FBS members Rice and North Texas inside the first month. Five games are scheduled for Husky Stadium in southwest Houston, with the only open week falling in mid-October.

Which Houston Christian Huskies games are worth watching in 2026?
The September 5 trip to Rice Stadium is the local curiosity of the year. The two campuses sit barely ten miles apart inside Houston city limits, and it is rare for the Huskies to get a genuine crosstown game against an FBS program on that scale. Three weeks later they head to Denton for a second American Conference opponent in North Texas, making September the most demanding month on the calendar — two FBS road trips plus a Thursday night conference opener at Southeastern Louisiana before the schedule has really settled.
Once league play takes over, the two dates that matter most in Houston are both at Husky Stadium. McNeese visits on November 7 in a series the Cowboys have dominated recently, and UTRGV closes the regular season on November 21 — a fixture that has grown quickly since the Vaqueros launched their program and immediately went 9-3. The toughest road assignment is Halloween at Stephen F. Austin, where the defending Southland champion will be well into its title defense. Sandwiched in between is the October 24 trip to Beaumont, keeping alive a Texas series with Lamar that dates back to HCU's earliest seasons in the league.
