Eastern Kentucky Colonels Football TV Schedule, Channels, Times

How to watch live stream Eastern Kentucky Colonels football game today, tonight, or tomorrow? What channel & time?

The Eastern Kentucky Colonels compete in the United Athletic Conference, and every game on their 2026 schedule streams on ESPN+ — all seven UAC contests plus the five non-conference dates, since the SoCon, Pioneer League and Conference USA all use the same platform for these matchups. There is no cable package for Colonel football, so one subscription covers the season. Walt Wells is in his seventh year in Richmond, and the schedule has a clean rhythm to it: EKU opens with back-to-back road games, then settles into a home stretch at CG Bank Field at Roy Kidd Stadium where four straight kickoffs are set for 6:00 PM ET. Six games are scheduled in Richmond, with the only open week falling on September 26.

Which Eastern Kentucky Colonels games are worth watching in 2026?

The September 5 trip to Jacksonville State is the only meeting with an FBS opponent and renews a series between two programs that spent years as OVC rivals before the Gamecocks moved up. It follows a Week Zero opener at Western Carolina under the lights, giving EKU back-to-back road tests before the home crowd sees a snap. The home opener on September 12 against Chattanooga is worth a look in its own right — the Mocs are among the SoCon's steadiest programs, and the Colonels have three straight 6:00 PM nights at Roy Kidd Stadium after it.

October 3 carries the most sentiment: Family Weekend against North Alabama doubles as a reunion for the 1979 through 1982 teams, the group that reached four consecutive national championship games and won two of them. Homecoming lands October 24 against West Florida, the UAC's brand-new football-only member, on a date chosen so it would not clash with Richmond's Millstone Festival. The two games that shape the league race come after: a Halloween trip to defending co-champion Tarleton State, and the November 21 finale at Abilene Christian, the other team that shared the 2025 UAC title.
