Which BYU Cougars games are worth watching in 2026?
BYU has one of the country's best home schedules in 2026. The season begins with Arizona visiting Provo in an early Big 12 showdown before the Cougars host Iowa State on a nationally televised Friday night in October. One week later comes the marquee non-conference matchup as Notre Dame visits LaVell Edwards Stadium for the first time since 2004, making it one of the biggest home games in recent BYU history.
The road schedule is equally compelling. BYU travels to TCU, UCF, Kansas, and longtime rival Utah, with the Holy War at Rice-Eccles Stadium once again expected to be one of the Big 12's premier rivalry games. The regular season concludes with Senior Day against Cincinnati, and if the Cougars are in conference title contention, several of those late-season matchups could determine a trip to the Big 12 Championship Game.
