Which Bethune-Cookman Wildcats games are worth watching in 2026?
The season ends with the biggest game on the Florida HBCU calendar. The Florida Blue Florida Classic against Florida A&M fills Camping World Stadium in Orlando on November 21, routinely draws crowds north of 55,000, and carries both bragging rights and SWAC East implications — it is also the only Wildcats game with a linear television window. The season starts with something almost as unusual: a Thursday night trip up the road to UCF on September 3, the first meeting between the schools since Bethune-Cookman moved into the SWAC, and the Wildcats' only game against an FBS opponent.
The home schedule is stacked early. Stetson opens Daytona Stadium on September 12 in a Florida series that never needs much selling given the two campuses sit barely twenty miles apart, and Homecoming follows a week later. Then comes the one non-conference game with real weight: South Carolina State visits on September 26 as the reigning MEAC champion and Celebration Bowl winner, completing a home-and-home that began in Orangeburg last season. Conference play brings Jackson State to Daytona on October 24 and Grambling State on November 14, and the road trip to Southern on November 7 puts the Wildcats in one of the loudest environments in the league.
