Austin Peay Governors Football TV Schedule, Channels, Times
How to watch live stream Austin Peay Governors football game today, tonight, or tomorrow? What channel & time?
The Austin Peay Governors compete in the United Athletic Conference, and nearly every game on their 2026 schedule streams on ESPN+ — all six UAC contests plus the five non-conference games against FCS and reclassifying opposition. The exception is the September 5 trip to Vanderbilt, which falls under the SEC's television agreement and will air somewhere in the SEC Network family. Jeff Faris enters his third season in Clarksville off a 7-5 campaign, and the 2026 slate is built unusually: Austin Peay plays six straight non-conference games before touching its league schedule, and hosts seven games at Fortera Stadium. It also opens at home on a Thursday night for the first time since 2019.

Which Austin Peay Governors games are worth watching in 2026?
Two September road trips define the early season. September 5 sends the Govs 50 miles down the road to Nashville to face SEC member Vanderbilt, the only game on the schedule with a real television window and by far the largest crowd Austin Peay will see. Two weeks later comes the harder football test: a trip to the Fargodome to face North Dakota State, the most decorated program in modern FCS history and one of the toughest environments in the country. Getting through those with the roster intact matters, because the Govs play six straight non-conference games before the UAC schedule even begins.
At home, the marquee night is October 10 against Tarleton State, the reigning UAC champion and an FCS quarterfinalist last season — a 7:00 PM ET kickoff billed as Community Night and the game most likely to decide where Austin Peay finishes in the league. The season opens with Thursday Night Football at The Fort against Gardner-Webb, the program's first Thursday opener since 2019. Homecoming on October 3 brings New Haven, a newcomer to Division I after moving up from Division II, and the Govs close the home slate on Senior Day against Abilene Christian on November 14.
