Which Alabama A&M Bulldogs games are worth watching in 2026?
Two dates carry the season. The first is the opener: the MEAC/SWAC Challenge puts Alabama A&M on ABC against Howard at Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta, only the program's second appearance in the event and its first since 2014. It is also just the second meeting ever between the schools. The second is October 31, when the Magic City Classic fills Legion Field in Birmingham for the rivalry with Alabama State — routinely the best-attended game in HBCU football, often drawing north of 60,000, and the game most Bulldogs fans measure the year by. A bye the week before means Alabama A&M arrives fresh.
The home stretch in September is a genuine rarity. Three straight at Louis Crews Stadium open with the 16th Louis Crews Classic against Miles College over Labor Day weekend, then Tennessee State visits September 12 for the second installment of the Legacy Series, a four-game annual arrangement running through 2028. Conference play adds two more markers: the Gulf Coast Challenge against Jackson State at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile on October 3, and Homecoming against Grambling State on October 17. The Bulldogs then close with three of four in November, including a trip to defending SWAC champion Prairie View A&M.
